Participants earned a Bryant Analytics certificate, reflecting their new understanding of data science, and left camp with a curiosity for continued learning in the field, which Forbes calls one of the most valuable college majors. The program culminated with group data visualization projects and presentations to fellow students, family, and friends. Over the course of the week-long event that took place June 24 to 28, students participated in in-depth classes, hands-on workshops, and networking events. This summer, 29 high school students from Rhode Island and Massachusetts came to Bryant to learn about predictive modeling, 3D printing, coding, and more at “ Exploring Data Science & the Art of Visualization,” the University’s free summer camp for girls. ![]()

World’s End is the second book in the Snow Queen Cycle. Which I need to read immediately :)Ī wonderful story with an embarrassing-to-read-in-public cover. I ended up having a great deal more knowledge and respect for BZ and I really hope he makes an appearance in The Summer Queen. It's absolutely wonderful to see how his character develops, and it's wonderful to see him dig deep inside himself to fight the madness. The world itself is actually pretty messed up and as he gets closer to Fire Lake he begins to go mad. He sets out to find them along with another Sybil named Song. ![]() His brothers, who he is not close to because they're assholes, have disappeared in a place called World's End. After some trouble at work, he's encouraged to take a leave of absence. Perhaps it's unimportant overall but it's such a great story.īZ leaves Tiamat even though he's very much in love with Moon, who is the new Summer Queen. I did think that this was an insignificant part of the overall story. ![]() Instead I got a completely solid sequel to The Snow Queen. I think I was judging it by the totally tacky 80s cover so I was expecting it to be kind of cheesy. I was genuinely surprised by how much I loved this book. ![]() A middle earth traveller5/30/2023 ![]() ![]() ![]() Events from Tolkien's books are explored – battles of the different ages that are almost part of legend by the time of The Lord of the Rings lost kingdoms and ancient myths, as well as those places only hinted at: kingdoms of the far North and lands beyond the seas.Sketches that have an ‘on-the-spot' feel to them are interwoven with the artist's observations gleaned from Tolkien's books and recollections of his time spent in Middle-earth while working alongside Peter Jackson on the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit film trilogies. This presents a modern take on Dinah’s origin story by reimagining her as a teenager who slowly comes to terms with her metahuman abilities and her mother’s secret past as the Black Canary. The first on the Black Canary comics list is a young adult graphic novel. ![]() Black Canary: Ignite by Meg Cabot, Cara McGee, and Caitlin Quirk That said, here is my list of Black Canary comics for fans who loved Smollett-Bell as Canary and want to know more about her. The Black Canary has been one of my favorite characters in the DC Universe since I was a teenager, and Smollett-Bell embodies her spirit perfectly. For all of its stellar fight scenes, irreverent nature, and top-notch cast, I’d personally have to say that the best part of the movie was Jurnee Smollett-Bell’s performance as Dinah Lance/Black Canary. ![]() Birds of Prey recently made its debut in theaters, and it deserves the praise it has gotten. ![]() The count of monte cristo book online5/30/2023 ![]() ![]() His unhoused anger, and his failed plot to have a “pointed conversation” with Henry, all add up to his present dullness. Hank could not indulge in Lily’s happiness he lost the opportunity to confront his father about abandoning him, which is where the allegory of The Count of Monte Cristo comes in. They go out for a walk where Hank brings up Lily and the “cheek kiss.” He is unhappy that Lily made the choice to move to NY, even though he consciously thought he was alright. Toni arrives as Julie goes back to her house, disappointed that Hank isn’t taking a greater interest, so Hank mutters a half-baked apology to him and Toni is glad to “take Hank back.” Hank is completely zoned out and can hardly focus. Her husband did not come home last night and she is worried. He and the house are a complete mess, and Julie walks over to a half-eaten delivery of spaghetti at Hank’s door to let him know that Russell is missing. We see a sort of time loop of Lily’s absence and Hank spending the days at home. She tries to lean in for a kiss but Hank subconsciously gives her his cheek. It is as random as can be and has no great relevance except that Lily is going to New York alone. ![]() Before Lily leaves for New York – alone – Hank describes his vividly nightmarish dream to her. ![]() Captive of my desires johanna lindsey5/30/2023 ![]() The success of this book gave her the courage and esteem to write more books even creating several novel series. ![]() Career Development Johanna Lindsey’s writing career began in 1977 when she wrote and released her first book called Captive Bride.
